Overview

A private twelve-hour South Coast journey to Jökulsárlón, with waterfalls, black sands and glacier scenery along the route.

The itinerary covers Skógafoss, South Coast black sands, Glacier rivers, Öræfajökull, and Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon. The guide may adjust timing or access when weather, roads or local conditions require it.

Jökulsárlón is a year-round route stop; only the optional lagoon boat is seasonal and separately paid.

  1. Skógafoss

    Visit Skógafoss during the private South Coast journey.

  2. South Coast drive

    Continue past black sands, glacial rivers and views of Öræfajökull on the way to the lagoon. These are landscapes seen along the drive.

  3. Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon

    Visit the glacier lagoon. A seasonal boat excursion may be available separately; it is not included by default.
