This waterfall is a bit of a hidden gem, so don't just zoom past—pull over and enjoy the view! It’s just a short walk to the waterfall, but be careful—it’s slipperier than a bar of soap. And watch out for the senior crowd spilling out of the tour buses; they move fast! If you’ve got time, a stroll to the lake is also totally worth it.
Somebody provided very misleading information and photos for this location. There is nothing here. It's just a very bumpy road that goes through the lava field. Don't repeat my mistake by driving here. Search for Selvallafoss and lava field photo spot to get to the right locations.
This is a stunning little gravel drive which pops you back out on the main road. It is a gravel road, but we did it in a normal car - just take your time and enjoy the view! 360° amazing views!!
