Beautiful waterfall with a short but steep trail to reach it. The trail is a little challenging, but it is worth it for the views of the falls, the mountains, and the ocean. You can get close enough to touch the basalt wall behind the falls, but be careful, the rock is very slippery and loose.
Worth the stop to get out and walk up to the base of the falls. It’s a bit of a climb once you leave the bridge area but worth going up as far as the conditions and your abilities let you.
Pretty cool waterfall to check out near the entrance of the peninsula. Takes about 10 minutes to hike up to the bridge. If you want to go higher, it takes about another 30 minutes to get up and down. The river is pretty impressive and so is the waterfall itself. It was pretty nice checking it out when you’re closer and higher to it. Worth a visit!
