Snæfellsnes National Park is more abput the beach than the waterfalls but there are definitely some beauties throughout the peninsula. Weather hampered full exploration of this one today but the view from the car in the parking lot is still impressive. Allow 30 min if you want to walk closer. Its not a far walk but of course they all involve inclines and they all take time. Free parking lot. No WC.
Stunning waterfall with amazing landscape around. Just of the main road with a fairly large car park. There’s a path that can take you part way up to a bridge view point for closer views. If you’re brave you can go right up to the falls also. Definitely a must see spot if in the area.
Beautiful waterfall with a short but steep trail to reach it. The trail is a little challenging, but it is worth it for the views of the falls, the mountains, and the ocean. You can get close enough to touch the basalt wall behind the falls, but be careful, the rock is very slippery and loose.
