We stayed in the harbor area. It's small with marked sites. Signs ask you to register/check availability before setting up camp. This proved a little difficult. Registration is done through the Parka app. There are four different camping areas included in the Siglufjord campsite. I had to figure out what area I was in before I could check for available sites. There wasn't an option on the app to use the camping card. I got around this by marking 2 children (which are free). The warden came around and scanned my camp card later in the evening. There were plentiful bathrooms which were warm and clean. Electrical outlets and a washer/dryer were available for hire. There were covered outdoor sinks with hot water for washing dishes. ( Bring your own soap and sponge. ) Only one shower, but it was included in the camping fee. There was a place inside the shower room to set down your items. There was often a line of people waiting to use it. The area was beautiful! I enjoyed people-watching and seeing the harbor come to life in the morning.
Excellent facilities. It was just me at night (October) and they had a heated bathroom and shower. As well as a small lounge room. It was perfect to warm up after a cold hike. This town is gorgeous and well worth a visit!
Groundskeeper/caretaker was very friendly and helpful. Simple but clean bathrooms, shower, and sinks. Trash bins around back. Very close to restaurants, bars, and the museum. Enjoyed our campervan stay.
