Þorlákshöfn Swimming Pool (Sundlaug Þorlákshafnar) is the municipal pool of Ölfus, at Hafnarberg 41 in Þorlákshöfn, the harbour town on the south coast about 50 km from Reykjavík. It is part of a sports centre with a gym, athletics grounds and a golf course nearby.
The outdoor area has a 25-metre pool, two hot pots, a wading pool and three water slides, named Fossinn, Slangan and Drekinn. Indoors there is a shallow 45 cm pool with water toys for small children, which is useful in bad weather, plus a steam room. There are two large changing rooms as well as outdoor changing areas.
The pool is open all year. From 1 June to 31 August it opens 07:00–21:00 on weekdays and 10:00–18:00 at weekends; from 1 September to 31 May the weekday hours are the same and weekends are 10:00–17:00. Þorlákshöfn is a short detour from Route 1 via Route 38, and it works well combined with a visit to the Raufarhólshellir lava tube, about 10 km away.
In 2026 a single adult entry costs 1,345 ISK, a ten-visit adult card 6,150 ISK and a child ticket (ages 10–18) 400 ISK. Seniors and disabled visitors swim free. Swimsuits and towels can be hired for 935 ISK each or 2,275 ISK together, and a shower only costs 665 ISK. The town campsite is right beside the sports centre.
