Nice campground. Clean, nice bathrooms and showers. Showers are extra 500ISK (reportedly only 3 minutes, not the advertised 5). Check in at the restaurant for bathroom code and to pay. Quite windy open plain, but fantastic views. As stated, no common area for cooking.
Nice campground with clean facilities—WC, showers, and toilets. You can choose spots with or without electricity. Lots of Arctic terns nesting in the area, so keep an eye out! Beautiful coastal walks nearby with stunning views.
It is very hard to find, even at the evening, everyone says. Pleeeeese put some plates on with root and put some gravel on the ground or drain it, every farmer and construction 🚧 site staff knows how. You have the possibility, even when you see how much is in the bathrooms, BUT where is a place to boil or put a pan on, to heat the dishes, if yo want sit inside and not in the narrow car. Over the time it's also impossible to dry things on the way, but inside with some warm an air breeze would it be way better to stay comfortable and cosy. On the other side, there are cottages or hotels for reorganization, if you have some issues. Remember, not everyone is in the position or don't need a camper with everything inside. There is also no communication between guests possible and this is way many people go around, they want to share and be connected. You know? It's not about the money. Unfortunately, this is a little bit inconvenient, but had to say 😭 I'm a sports guide in some middle European locations and be always side by side with locals and take care.
