Basic facilities, toilets, paid shower and sitting area. Everything is very clean. Compared to other campsites with the same price (or even lower), the value for money here is low. The paid shower had warm water (but not hot). At least we could wash dishes with warm water. We came here despite the bad reviews because location wise it suited us most.
Don’t let the fact that this campground is not listed on some of the campground maps for you, this is a very nice place! Beautiful setting, with a river right behind the campground and spacious parking spaces. They do charge per minute for the showers, but the showers and restrooms were very clean and nice. Definitely recommend this campground if you’re in the area.
Beautiful spot for a campground! We loved our short stay here, as the showers and bathrooms were very clean, the parking area was easy to navigate, and the owner was kind. Paying 100 ISK per shower minute is well worth it, and the water was warm right away. Thank you!
