Open from 05:00 every day, Loksins Café & Bar is built around Keflavík Airport's rhythm, where early-morning departures are the norm. It is a café and bar — the name says as much — at the airport that handles nearly all international flights in and out of Iceland.
Shutting by mid-afternoon, it serves the dawn-departure and morning-arrival crowd rather than anyone flying out in the evening. Running from more than one spot in the terminal, it turns up on either side of security — a first coffee for a jet-lagged arrival, or breakfast to steady a pre-dawn check-in before the long flight home.
