About Kaffi Sel
Flúðir is a small village in inland South Iceland, and Kaffi Sel is a barbecue-and-burger spot there with a bar attached. South Iceland's villages are spread out, so it pays to know in advance where you can sit down for a proper plate of food between stops.
Being close to Geysir, Gullfoss and the Secret Lagoon, Flúðir falls right on the Golden Circle loop that most first-time visitors drive out of Reykjavík. A barbecue plate here gives a group a solid lunch or an early dinner, a proper sit-down between the waterfalls and the road back to the city.
