Krónikan is a new and cozy restaurant in the middle of Kópavogur, located on the lower floor of Gerðarsafn art museum. It’s a relaxed place where you can enjoy good food and drinks, whether you are visiting the museum or just looking for somewhere nice to sit and take a break. The atmosphere is friendly and comfortable, making it a great spot to meet friends, have lunch, or enjoy a coffee.
The menu includes fresh pizzas, soft focaccia bread, and tasty cakes. There is beer on tap, a good choice of wines, and excellent coffee made with beans from Kaffibrugghúsið. You can order anything from a simple espresso to a creamy latte, always made with care.
