The restaurant is owned by chef Sigurður F. Gíslason, a former member of Iceland’s national culinary team, and his wife, Berglind Sigmarsdóttir. Together, they have written two bestselling cookbooks, and in 2016 they released their third, Our Good Dishes, which shares some of the recipes that have made GOTT so popular.
