Itinerary

Hotel Pick-Up in Reykjavik

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel or a nearby bus stop between 8:00 and 8:30 AM. From there, you'll begin your scenic drive out of the city and into the countryside.

Seljalandsfoss Waterfall

The first stop is Seljalandsfoss, a tall and narrow waterfall. You can walk behind it and enjoy a special view from inside the mist. Make sure to have your camera ready.

Skogafoss Waterfall

Next is Skogafoss, one of the most powerful waterfalls in Iceland. You can walk right up to the base or climb the stairs beside it for a great view from the top.

Yes, meals are not included in the tour. You can bring snacks, water, and lunch, or buy food during the stop in the village of Vík where there are small cafés and stores.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Iceland’s weather can change fast. If conditions make the tour unsafe, parts of the itinerary may be adjusted, or in rare cases, the tour may be canceled. If canceled, you’ll be notified and offered options.

How much walking is involved?

There is moderate walking at each stop. Most paths are easy to walk, but some areas may be uneven, especially near the waterfalls and on the ice cave tour. Good walking shoes are strongly recommended.
