Árbæjarlaug is a geothermal public pool in the Árbær district on the eastern side of Reykjavík, at Fylkisvegur 9 on the edge of the Elliðaárdalur valley. It is about 8 km east of the city centre and a short drive or bus ride from the Árbær Open Air Museum, and it is often described as one of Reykjavík's most popular family pools.

The complex combines an indoor pool with an outdoor 25-metre pool, linked so you can swim from one to the other. Around them are hot tubs, a whirlpool bath, a cold tub, a steam room and an infrared sauna. Children have their own pool, a wading pool, a children's slide and a larger slide. Outside the water there are two beach volleyball courts, running routes, infant facilities and outdoor changing rooms. The bright, spacious layout and good accessibility, including an accessible pool and private changing rooms, make it an easy choice for mixed-age groups.

The pool is open all year, and the outdoor hot tubs are at their best on cold winter evenings. From late August to June, parts of the pools can be reserved for school swimming and training, so weekday mornings are less suited to lane swimming. Weekends are busiest with families.

Opening hours are Monday to Friday 06:30–22:00 and Saturday and Sunday 09:00–22:00. Under Reykjavík's tariff valid from 5 May 2026, adult entry is 1,500 ISK, children aged 10 to 17 pay 400 ISK, and children under 10 swim free with an adult. Swimwear rental costs 1,270 ISK and a towel 860 ISK. Entry is included in the Reykjavík City Card. The pool can be reached on 411 5200.
