Breiðholtslaug
About Breiðholtslaug
Breiðholtslaug at Austurberg 3 in Reykjavík grew from a school swimming pool into a neighbourhood complex with indoor and outdoor pools. It has a 25-metre pool, children’s pool and wading pool, along with hot tubs, a cold tub, whirlpool bath, steam room and sauna. Two water slides, a Wipeout track, infant facilities and free Wi‑Fi add family-oriented options.
Open Monday–Friday 06:30–22:00 and Saturday–Sunday 09:00–22:00, it follows Reykjavík’s tariff from 5 May 2026: adults pay 1,500 ISK, children aged 0–9 enter free with a guardian, and ages 10–17 pay 400 ISK. A private changing room by reception and barrier-free routes serve the changing rooms, pools, tubs and steam room. The outdoor pool has a portable lift, while steps lead into the pool and the steam-room door lacks an automatic opener.
