At Tjarnarbraut 26 in Egilsstaðir, Egilsstaðir Swimming Pool has a 25-metre outdoor pool, two hot tubs, a children’s pool, wading pool, cold tub, steam room and waterslide. A sports hall, gym and exercise room are also at the facility. A lift provides access to the pool and hot tubs.
From 1 September to 31 May, hours are Monday–Friday 06:30–20:30 and Saturday–Sunday 09:00–17:00. Summer weekday hours, from 1 June to 31 August, extend to 21:30; weekend hours stay 09:00–17:00. Adult admission is 1,220 ISK, while children aged 0–18 who live in Múlaþing enter free. Children visiting from outside Múlaþing pay 420 ISK. Summer lane reservations are published, so check availability if you need a particular lane. Pensioners and disabled visitors receive a 50% tariff discount.
