Holar Campground

Great place to camp at! Facilities are very well maintained which was such a blessing. If you camp out in your car (not camper van) you'll definitely have to layer up in some comfy PJs and have some blankets. It rained not too heavily when we stayed. We were the only ones there for 12 hrs so it was amazing having all of that nature all to ourselves. Such an amazing place!

2.5 ⭐️ Site was very peaceful and tranquil in the woods. However considering the lack of facilities (shower, kitchen, washer/dryer etc.) we don’t think it was worth the price we paid (4800 for 2 adults). The toilets were not the nicest either. We’ve paid less for nicer campsites with more facilities.

A beautiful little camp! If you like to be away from people and have a nice quiet camping experience, this is the place to be!! It's in a nice wooded area. There's plenty of spaces to park. We were lucky enough to be the only people camping at this site! We had a great experience. I even got to talk to the owner and he gave me some information about the area and he even has many information pages posted on his washroom shed, if your not sure what there is to see around and want a bit of historical info. There's apparently also a hiking trail that leads to the mountain peak on the shelf area. There are four toliets. The other three are in the back of the sheds. There's no shower, but it's worth it to get away from all the other busy packed Campsites! I highly recommend staying here if your passing through on the ring road!
