Hrísey Swimming Pool at Austurvegur 5 has a 12.5-metre outdoor pool, children’s pool, hot tub, cold tub, infrared sauna and steam sauna. The sports centre also includes a fitness room and a 12-by-20-metre sports hall. A dedicated accessible changing and shower room is available, with good wheelchair access to the pool area, but there is no lift into the pool or hot tubs.

Winter hours from 17 August to 5 June are Monday–Thursday 15:00–19:00, Friday 15:00–18:00 and weekends 13:00–16:00. Summer hours from 6 June to 16 August are weekdays 10:30–19:00 and weekends 10:30–17:00. Adult entry is 1,400 ISK, children aged 6–17 pay 310 ISK and disabled visitors enter free. An adult ten-visit pass costs 7,040 ISK. The facility publishes a direct telephone number but no pool email.
