Kirkjubæjarklaustur Swimming Pool is the village pool at the sports centre in Kirkjubæjarklaustur, usually shortened to Klaustur, on the Ring Road in South Iceland. It is run by the municipality of Skaftárhreppur and shares changing rooms and a service building with the sports hall and gym next to the school.

The outdoor pool has a wading pool for small children and hot tubs, and from the hot tubs you can see Systrafoss, the waterfall that drops from the cliffs directly above the village. It is a simple local pool rather than a spa, but it is the only public pool on the long Ring Road stretch between Vík and Höfn, so it is useful for travellers who have spent the day at Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon, the Eldhraun lava field or Skaftafell.

Klaustur is about 70 km east of Vík and about 250 km from Reykjavík, and Fjaðrárgljúfur is a short drive west. The village has two campsites, Kirkjubær II in the village and Kleifar just outside it, as well as hotels and a shop, so many visitors stay overnight and swim in the evening.

The municipality lists opening hours of 11:00–20:00 every day, while the national pool directory gives summer hours (15 May to 31 August) of 10:00–20:00. Ticket sales stop 30 minutes before closing. Hours outside summer are not clearly published, so check with the sports centre before relying on an evening swim between September and May.

The 2026 prices are 2,000 ISK for adults aged 16 and over, 390 ISK for children aged 7–15 and 590 ISK for seniors and disabled visitors. A shower without swimming costs 700 ISK, and towels and swimsuits can be rented for 800 ISK each. Children under 10 must be accompanied by a swimmer aged 15 or older.
