Myllulækur campsite is a small countryside campsite in the Nesjar farming district of Hornafjörður, Southeast Iceland, about 10 minutes' drive north of Höfn. Known locally as Tjaldsvæðið Myllulækur, it looks across to the Hornafjörður mountains and the outlet glaciers of Vatnajökull.
The reason to stay here rather than in town is the setting. Lake Þveit is about a two-minute walk down the path, fishing permits for the lake are available, and on a calm evening the walk to the water is the best part of the day.
