You really can't complain when you pay only 1000 ISK per person. Two toilets, two sinks, one kettle, amazing view over the waterfall. Friendly staff!
Very nice camping place, cheap (1000isk per person and free for children younger than 18) and great views. You can make a nice evening walk, the Stjornarfoss waterfall is very close. There is a kitchen area to wash the dishes, clean toilet with paper. Out of minuses- no hot water or shower. The owners are very kind.
Yeah, the water is cold and there are no showers. If thats a nono for you: Don’t come here. But lets be honest: Most of us are here with the camping card and on a budget, so you shouldn‘t expect some luxurious glamping class campsite. The lady who runs it also owns the farm closeby, so she already has a lot to handle apart from maintaining the site. She is very helpful and seems like a nice person. For one or even two nights(you can shower at the public swimming pool in the village closeby) its totally fine(if the site is not too full. The two toilets really not closely enough to handle a fully occupied campsite), especially regarding the otherwise very sparse camping card sites in this area.
