Vogar Swimming Pool at Hafnargata 17 is part of the local sports centre. It has a 16.66-by-8-metre pool, a 41°C massage hot tub, cold tub, wading pool and sauna; the complex also includes a gym and sports hall. The pool is open Monday–Friday 06:15–21:00 and Saturday–Sunday 10:00–16:00.
Swimmers are asked to leave the water 15 minutes before the advertised closing time. The 2026 municipal tariff lists single admission of 1,000 ISK for ages 18–66, with free entry for ages 0–17 and 67+. Ten-visit, 30-visit and annual options are available for ages 18–66. Although the centre can accommodate groups overnight, that accommodation is separate from the pool service. Check directly for public-holiday or temporary changes, and ask about individual access needs because facility-specific accessibility guidance is not published.
