Day-by-day itinerary

A starting point, not a fixed route — request the full itinerary and we adjust it to your dates and pace.

  1. Day 1: Waterfalls & Glacier Adventure

Morning Pick-Up & South Coast Journey

Your adventure begins as we pick you up from your hotel or a nearby bus stop in Reykjavík. Once everyone’s on board, we’ll begin the scenic drive toward Iceland’s stunning South Coast. Enjoy the changing views — from quiet farmlands to rugged mountains — and soak in the glow of the midnight sun during the long summer days.

    Seljalandsfoss Waterfall

Our first major stop is the breathtaking Seljalandsfoss, one of Iceland’s most iconic waterfalls. With a 60-meter drop, it’s famous for the path that lets you walk behind the curtain of water — an unforgettable sight and sound. The mist from the falls creates rainbows on sunny days, so don’t forget your raincoat!

Just a short walk away lies Gljúfrabúi, a hidden waterfall tucked inside a mossy canyon. Few travelers knew of it until recent years — making it a secret gem waiting to be discovered.

    Skógafoss Waterfall

Next, we visit Skógafoss, another of Iceland’s legendary waterfalls. This mighty cascade, 25 meters wide and over 60 meters tall, is known for its constant rainbow displays when the sunlight hits. A staircase beside the falls leads to an overlook, where you can admire panoramic views of the coastline and the Skógá River below.

    Glacier Hike in Skaftafell

Now for the highlight of the day — a glacier hike on one of Europe’s largest ice caps within Vatnajökull National Park. Upon arrival, your expert glacier guide will provide all safety gear and instructions before leading you onto the ancient ice.

As you walk across blue ice ridges, deep crevasses, and natural ice sculptures, you’ll feel the thrill of exploring a frozen world shaped over thousands of years. This area has even appeared in popular shows like Game of Thrones!

After an active and awe-inspiring day, we’ll head to our cozy accommodation in southeast Iceland for dinner and a good night’s rest.

  2. Day 2: Glacier Lagoon, Diamond Beach & Black Sands

    Morning at Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon

Wake up to another day of adventure and head to Jökulsárlón, the famous Glacier Lagoon. Here, enormous icebergs drift peacefully on the blue waters, broken off from nearby glaciers. You’ll join a boat tour that glides between the floating ice, giving you an up-close look at nature’s frozen sculptures — and if you’re lucky, a few playful seals!

    Diamond Beach

Just across the road, you’ll find Diamond Beach, where pieces of ice from the lagoon wash ashore and sparkle like gemstones on the jet-black sand. The contrast of crystal-clear ice against dark volcanic sand creates one of Iceland’s most surreal and photogenic landscapes.

    Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach

As we journey back toward Reykjavík, we’ll stop at Reynisfjara, the world-famous Black Sand Beach near the village of Vík. Here, waves crash dramatically against towering basalt columns, and sea stacks rise from the ocean just offshore. Keep an eye out for puffins and seabirds nesting on the nearby cliffs of Dýrhólaey during summer.

    Return to Reykjavík

After two days filled with waterfalls, glaciers, and unforgettable memories, we’ll make our way back to Reykjavík, arriving in the evening (around 8:00 PM, depending on road and weather conditions).

Sit back, relax, and reflect on the incredible natural wonders you’ve just experienced — a journey through Iceland’s most magical landscapes.
