Meet the guide at the selected Reykjavík pickup point and begin the day’s route.
See Skógafoss, an approximately 60-metre-high and 25-metre-wide waterfall on the South Coast.
Gear up with a certified glacier guide and hike across Sólheimajökull on a route selected for the day’s conditions.
Visit the black-sand beach and basalt columns while staying well clear of the powerful Atlantic waves.
Visit the narrow waterfall and, when the path is safe, walk behind its approximately 60-metre cascade.
Return to Reykjavík after the final stop; the arrival time can change with road and weather conditions.
Pickup 08:00–08:30. Follow the meeting or pickup instructions on the booking voucher and be ready before the stated time.
The minimum age is 10. The activity level is easy to moderate; guests must be comfortable with the terrain described on this page.
Bring warm waterproof layers, gloves, a hat, sturdy hiking boots, a small backpack and water.
