Ásvallalaug at Ásvellir 2 is Hafnarfjörður’s large indoor swimming centre. Its wide main pool is divided by a bridge to create 25-metre and 50-metre sections. The complex also has a children’s pool, a 10-metre wading pool with toys, an indoor waterslide, three indoor hot tubs, two outdoor hot tubs, a steam bath and a sunbathing area.
Hours are Monday–Thursday 06:30–22:00, Friday 06:30–20:00, Saturday 08:00–18:00 and Sunday 08:00–17:00. Adult admission is 1,250 ISK; children aged 0–17 and people 67 or older enter free. Two accessible changing rooms include shower chairs, with accessible toilets nearby. A Poolpod lift with its own wheelchair serves the larger pools, and a movable lift is available by the pool; steps into the pools and tubs have handrails.
