Fáskrúðsfjörður Swimming Pool
About Fáskrúðsfjörður Swimming Pool
Fáskrúðsfjörður Swimming Pool at Skólavegur 41 has an indoor pool and an outdoor hot tub. Public swimming is seasonal despite the indoor setting: the published summer period from 15 May to 31 August is closed. The winter timetable begins on 1 September, so visitors should confirm that reopening before setting out at the seasonal change. A direct pool telephone number and email are available for that check.
Winter opening is Monday 16:00–19:00, Tuesday 16:00–20:00, Wednesday–Thursday 16:00–19:00 and Friday 16:00–20:00, with Saturday and Sunday closed. The tariff effective 1 May 2026 lists adult entry at 1,145 ISK and a ten-visit adult card at 6,926 ISK. Visitors aged 16–17 pay 325 ISK, children under 16 enter free, and pensioners and disabled visitors receive a 50% discount. No pool-specific accessibility arrangement is currently published.
