Hella Swimming Pool at Útskálar 4 has a 25-by-11-metre competition-legal pool linked to the town sports hall. Its outdoor area includes a massage tub, two hot tubs and two wading pools, plus three water slides, steam room and sunbathing area.
Winter opening from 25 August to 25 May is weekdays 06:30–21:00 and weekends 10:00–16:00. It is closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day; other public holidays are 10:00–16:00. The 2026 tariff lists entry at 1,500 ISK for ages 16+, 500 ISK for ages 10–15, and 750 ISK for senior or disabled visitors. Confirm the post-25 May summer timetable and holiday changes directly before going. Ask whether the three slides and steam room are operating on your chosen day.
