Hvolsvöllur Swimming Pool at Vallarbraut has a 25-metre outdoor pool, two hot tubs, wading pool, water slide and steam room, with indoor and outdoor changing rooms. It forms part of the municipal sports centre. Summer hours from 1 May to 31 August are Monday–Friday 06:00–21:00 and Saturday–Sunday 10:00–19:00.
Winter hours from 1 September to 30 April are Monday–Friday 06:00–21:00 and weekends 10:00–17:00, although school swimming uses the middle of winter weekdays. The 2026 tariff lists adult entry at 1,500 ISK, 600 ISK for ages 12–16, free entry under age 12, and 600 ISK for seniors and disabled visitors. Check directly for public-holiday changes and school-use restrictions. The wider sports centre also has a gym, sports hall, football pitch and athletics facilities, separate from pool entry.
