At Borgarholtsbraut 17 in Kópavogur, Kópavogslaug has a 50-metre outdoor pool alongside 25-metre and 10-metre indoor pools. Facilities include seven hot tubs, including a massage tub and a children’s splash tub, a cold tub, steam room, sauna and three outdoor waterslides. A fitness centre is in the same building, and a smaller slide is intended for younger children. The pool opened in 1967 and was most recently renovated in 2008.
From 1 May to 30 September, hours are Monday–Friday 06:30–22:00 and Saturday–Sunday 08:00–20:00. In winter, weekday hours stay the same while weekends close at 18:00. Single admission is 1,330 ISK; children under 18, disabled visitors and people aged 67+ enter free. Public-holiday hours follow a separate schedule, so confirm times before visiting.
