At Einbúastígur 2 in Skagaströnd, Skagaströnd Swimming Pool has a 6-by-12-metre outdoor pool with geothermal heating, changing rooms, showers and a hot tub. Gym memberships are valid for the pool as well. Adult admission is 900 ISK, and an adult ten-visit pass costs 6,900 ISK. Children under 16, visitors aged 67+ and people receiving a 75% disability benefit enter free.
Summer hours, from June through August, are Monday–Friday 10:00–20:00 and Saturday–Sunday 13:00–17:00; the 2026 season began on 10 June. From September through May, opening is Monday–Friday 16:00–20:00 and Saturday 13:00–17:00. Sunday hours are not listed for the September–May timetable, so confirm them before travelling. A hot tub was added in 2017 during wider improvements. The pool is at Skagaströnd’s western edge, close to Spákonufellshöfði.
