  1. Day 1: ARRIVAL AT REYKJAVIK

    Upon landing at Keflavik International Airport, a driver will meet you and escort you to your accommodation in Reykjavík, the gateway to Iceland's South Coast. Once you've checked in and gotten comfortable, you'll have the remainder of the day to discover the lively heart of the city, with its diverse array of museums, eateries, and bars catering to every preference.

    Don't miss a stroll down Laugavegur, the main street, where you can enjoy shopping and relax in cafes.

  2. Day 2: THE SOUTH COAST & MESMERIZING WATERFALLS

    Begin your day by traveling to the stunning south coast. Your first stop will be the magnificent Seljalandsfoss waterfall. Here, you can walk along a path that goes behind the waterfall's spray. Then, you'll see Skógafoss, another breathtaking waterfall.

    It has a path next to it that goes up a hill, offering a great view. Close by is the Skógar Folk Museum. We suggest visiting the traditional turf farm and viewing the indoor exhibits to learn about Iceland's history.

  3. Day 3: FLOATING ICEBERGS AT JÖKULSÁRLÓN

    Take some time to discover Skaftafell, nestled within the expansive Vatnajökull National Park, known for its breathtaking natural beauty. For those seeking an extra thrill, consider joining an optional guided glacier hike.

    Afterward, visit the smaller Fjallsárlón, followed by the renowned Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon. Here, enjoy the captivating sight of icebergs drifting past. You might even witness the northern lights with some luck and the right conditions.

    Close to the lagoon, make a stop at Diamond Beach, where large ice pieces from the lagoon wash ashore, glistening like diamonds after being smoothed by the surf. Finish your day at Skaftafell National Park, a hiker's paradise with diverse trails and options for guided glacier tours.

  4. Day 4: THE PICTURESQUE SOUTH COAST & OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES

    Today, your Iceland trip leads you back along the south coast towards Vík. This allows you to revisit any attractions you might have missed earlier.

    Be sure to visit the volcanic black sand beach south of Vík. Here, you can marvel at the striking rock formations of Reynisdrangar and Dyrhólaey, especially beautiful in the sunset light. With the whole day to explore, it's the perfect time to try optional activities in the area.

    Consider an ice cave tour, an ATV ride on the black sand beach, glacier hiking, or snowmobiling.

  5. Day 5: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE

    Today's journey will take you along the renowned Golden Circle route. Begin with the majestic Gullfoss waterfall, then proceed to the Haukadalur geothermal area.

    This area is famous for Geysir, the namesake of all geysers, and the more active Strokkur, known for its regular water eruptions. After visiting the Geysir area, your next destination is the captivating Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

    Here, you can stroll through the rift valley that lies between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. Before reaching your overnight accommodation, take time to explore the Kerið crater.

  6. Day 6: GEOTHERMAL AREA OF REYKJANES PENINSULA

    Today, set off for the volcanic Reykjanes Peninsula. This region sits atop a fissure zone formed by the mid-Atlantic ridge splitting across Iceland.

    One of the highlights here is the expansive geothermal area of Krýsuvík. Close by is the breathtaking Seltún geothermal field, characterized by its volcanic fumaroles, mud pots, and hot springs that have taken shape over thousands of years.

    Afterward, take the opportunity to visit the Blue Lagoon. This geothermal spa, nestled amidst intriguing lava formations, offers a particularly unique experience in the winter months.

  7. Day 7: DEPARTURE

    As your Icelandic journey concludes, plan to leave your accommodation with enough time to reach the airport about three hours before your flight departs.

    If your flight is in the afternoon, you can indulge in a final Icelandic experience by visiting the Famous Blue Lagoon geothermal spa. Soak in the soothing, mineral-rich waters as a perfect end to your adventure before you continue on to the airport.
