Overview

Reykjaböð Hot Springs is a new geothermal bathing spot in the Reykjadalur valley near Hveragerdi, shaped by the warm water and volcanic steam that rise naturally from this part of Iceland. Framed by mountains and just 35 minutes from Reykjavik, it slots neatly into a Golden Circle or South Shore day.

Your two-hour Classic Admission covers the hot springs lagoon and unlimited use of the outdoor ritual area. Drift between the warm water, the event sauna, the cold plunge, and the Kneipp pool in whatever order and rhythm suit you.

Everything practical is taken care of once you arrive: a wristband opens your locker and pays for anything you order, and a towel, showers with toiletries, and a vanity area with hair dryers are waiting when you get out.

This is an admission ticket only, so you make your own way to the valley and bring your own swimwear. The springs are newly opened, so check availability for your travel date when booking.
