Overview
A four-hour horse-riding tour from Hveragerði up into Reykjadalur, with a stop to bathe in the valley's naturally hot river.
Riders follow mountain paths above Hveragerði on Icelandic horses, with views over the village and, in clear weather, out towards the Westman Islands. Rain clothing, boots, helmets and coffee are provided, the bathe in the hot river is covered by the ticket, and a light refreshment follows the ride.
The route is graded for medium and experienced riders, with a minimum age of 14 and a 100 kg weight limit. Swimwear, towels and transport to the meeting point are not included. Meet at the Hveragerði location 30 minutes before the set starting time.
