Breiðdalsvík Swimming Pool
About Breiðdalsvík Swimming Pool
Breiðdalsvík Swimming Pool is a small outdoor municipal pool with a hot tub at Selnes 25. The published summer timetable gives Monday–Friday 14:00–20:00 and Saturday–Sunday 13:00–17:00 from 1 June through 15 September. However, the same municipal page labels 1 September to 14 May as a closed winter period, creating an unresolved overlap from 1 to 15 September.
The tariff effective 1 May 2026 lists adult entry at 1,145 ISK, a ten-visit adult card at 6,926 ISK and entry for ages 16–17 at 325 ISK. Children under 16 enter free, while pensioners and disabled visitors receive a 50% discount. Outside the disputed September dates, the pool is a seasonal facility rather than a year-round service. Anyone planning a visit from 1 to 15 September should confirm directly whether the pool is open before travelling.
