Nice camping with great facilities. A space to cook and eat inside with a kettle, a microwave and a burner. Some tables and chairs, a couch to relax. There is also couches, tables and sinks outside. I’d recommend to reserve and choose a spot online (the spots are numbered) and go explore. I’d recommend staying on gravel to have a flat spot. You’ll find the plan on the website. You also need to check in when you arrive by following the procedure in your emails. A large bathroom separated by gender with each 3 showers and 4 toilets. There are also a lot of washing machines/dryers. Over all a nice camping with a lot of spots and great facilities. Perfect to explore the surrounding area !
The best campground we’ve stayed at in Iceland so far! It’s very well-equipped, with spacious, clean, and modern dining areas, restrooms, and showers. It’s also the only campground we’ve seen with numbered, well-organized, and nicely spaced campsites. The price has shower included. The showers are spotless, and the water pressure is excellent—such a pleasure to stay here.
Convenient location. Huge campsite, although it looks more like a parling lot. Good for doing laundry (there are several washing machines and dryers). Small kitchen and cleaning area.
