Amazing! The best campsite we visited during our 7-day road trip! The connection with nature is truly unique, and everywhere you look there’s a sense of calm. The showers were clean, and the cozy dining area, with its chalet-like charm, was simply wonderful.
Wonderfully large campground for our ring road trip. We spent the day exploring the city and were tired. This campground offered MANY available sleeping spots. Mixed cars, cans, campers, tents and motorcycle camping. Lots for kiddos to do. Horses near by. Great city views, plenty of walking paths. Clean accommodating restroom, showers or camp facilities. Friendly informative staff. Seemed to be lots of local islanders camping here as well.
This was a very large campsite which was nice. The biggest con was the showers were not clean. We used facilities at the barn, would recommend using the new facilities as those were cleaner. Overall, a fine campsite for the night but not our favorite.
