CJA Camping is a small family-run campsite and guesthouse at the farm Hjalli in Reykjadalur, in the Þingeyjarsveit district of North Iceland, by the village of Laugar. It is run by Cornelia and Aðalsteinn, and the name CJA was chosen because Hjalli is such a common farm name in Iceland. The site suits travellers heading between Akureyri and Mývatn who want a quiet overnight stop.

Its particular feature is the layout of the summer pitches: each guest gets a private grass plot, separated from its neighbours, rather than a shared open field. The campsite is open all year; in winter, camping moves to open gravel spaces. Sleeping-bag accommodation is also available in small heated private rooms, one in a cabin and one in a barrel-shaped hut by the service building, and there is a guesthouse with four rooms in summer and apartments for up to nine people.

The 2026 prices are 1,900 ISK per adult per night, 700 ISK for ages 13 to 17 and free for children up to 12, plus 400 ISK per pitch and a 400 ISK overnight fee, with electricity at 900 ISK. Sleeping-bag rooms cost 3,300 ISK per adult. Bookings can be made online, and the campsite's phone number is published on its website.

From Laugar it is a short drive to Goðafoss, and Lake Mývatn is within easy reach to the east, so the site works as a base for both. Laugar has a public swimming pool close by.
