There are two dogs on the campground. They seem friendly BUT one of the destroyed both our tents while we were cooking in the indoor kitchen/hangout area/sanitary house. The owner offered to bring extra strings to tie the tents down, completely neglecting the fact that they can't be fixed with strings; he left to get some strings and didn't come back. Both dogs are outdoors day and night. Other than that the campsite is good, two toilets, one shower, indoor hangout area with kitchen and a washing machine, little fences for tents to take cover from the wind.
Fantastic, one of the best campsites on the island and I’ve been to around 20 now! Thank you family & lovely sheep dogs… ISK1800 per person.
Amazing campground, probably the best we stayed during the Iceland trip! Lovely host, super quiet place, great facilities (shower, washing included) and well equipped kitchen. And lovely dogs! Fully recommend, worth a short detour (in our case)!
