Varmahlíð Swimming Pool has a 12.5-by-25-metre outdoor main pool and a warmer 12.5-by-8-metre children’s pool. The children’s area has a small slide, while a larger slide measuring 7 metres high and 47 metres long opened in 2018. A hot tub completes the listed bathing facilities. Adult entry is 1,400 ISK and a ten-visit adult pass costs 8,750 ISK. Children aged 7–18 who live outside Skagafjörður pay 425 ISK, as do visitors aged 67+ and disabled visitors.
