Absolutely beautiful place to camp. Easily one of our favorites. The manager was extremely nice and facilities were top notch. Hot shower, kitchen and laundry. Give yourselves extra times for the hike up the mountain.
This is indeed the best camping site in Iceland. The location is stunning, and the host is very lovely and helpful. Everything's very clean and easily accessible. You have access to very nice toilets, common room/kitchen, and a shower (on this occasion, showers weren't working, so we were offered an alternative location just 5 minutes away from the camping). We'll remember this place as a highlight of our trip.
Best campsite we’ve stayed at! The scenery was beautiful. The camp host was so nice and friendly. Electricity available and they allow EV charging. The facilities were very clean and kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware.
