FLAME Restaurant & Bar is a modern fusion restaurant in Reykjavik that blends Scandinavian design with the Japanese teppanyaki style of cooking. The focus is on live cooking, where skilled chefs prepare meals in front of guests on large iron plates using fresh, local ingredients.

The teppanyaki setup seats up to 32 people, making it one of the largest of its kind in Iceland. Guests can watch as vegetables, seafood, chicken, and meats like beef or lamb are grilled on the spot, often with a few entertaining moves from the chef. The cooking style is fast, precise, and built around simple flavors with dipping sauces on the side.

Beyond teppanyaki, FLAME also offers an à la carte menu with sushi, small plates, and warm dishes that mix local and international flavors.
