In downtown Reykjavík, Grandi restaurant & bar does two jobs, as the name says: a restaurant for a full meal and a bar for a drink that does not need dinner attached.
Few kitchens keep serving as late as this one, which matters on the days a tour returns after dark and most places have already closed. Sitting at the western edge of the centre near the old harbour, it rewards an evening stroll along the Grandi waterfront, or simply a meal that starts long after standard dinner hours have passed.
