IÐA Zimsen
- Café
About IÐA Zimsen
In downtown Reykjavík, IÐA Zimsen is a café open through the daytime, seven days a week. Cafés do a lot of work in the Icelandic capital — coffee breaks, a place to plan the next leg, somewhere warm to sit out the weather — and this one sits within the compact centre most visitors base themselves in.
Daytime is when this one earns its place — a morning coffee to start the day's wandering, or a sit-down between two sights when your feet need a rest. Since the doors close in the early evening, keep it for the hours when the city is on foot rather than at dinner.
