About Kramber

Kramber is an evening venue on Skólavörðustígur, the shop-lined street that climbs towards Hallgrímskirkja in central Reykjavík. Nothing in its listing pins down a cuisine, so it is best taken simply as a place to sit and see out the evening in the 101 core, where the capital packs its bars and eating places close together.

Since it stays shut at the start of the week and only comes alive from mid-afternoon, it belongs to the evening half of a city stay rather than daytime plans. Anyone spending a Tuesday-to-Saturday night in the centre can wander up the street to it on foot once the shops close and the sightseeing is done.
