Beer is the whole point at MicroBar, a bar in downtown Reykjavík with the focus set squarely on beers. It operates more than one location, but this is the downtown one — placed where most visitors already spend their evenings.
Late in the evening, once the tours are back and dinner is done, a beer-led bar in the heart of 101 becomes an easy place to wind down. It draws the crowd that treats the beer list as the reason to be there, and its downtown footing makes it a natural link in a night that hops between a few central spots.
