Take off on a 3–4 hour helicopter trip and see the best of Iceland from above. Fly over famous places like Þingvellir National Park, the bubbling Geysir area, colorful Landmannalaugar mountains, and powerful waterfalls like Gullfoss and Háifoss. You’ll also spot the Eyjafjallajökull volcano and black sand coastlines. Along the way, your pilot will land twice at beautiful spots, giving you time to enjoy the views up close and take great photos.
The flight time is about 2–3 hours, with two stops that last 15–20 minutes each. In winter, the tour depends on the weather and daylight, but we always keep you updated. We fly all year, and changing weather often makes the views even more exciting. Come see Iceland’s amazing nature from the sky on this unforgettable adventure!
Start your adventure at Reykjavik Domestic Airport. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before your scheduled departure time to check in and meet your pilot. A short briefing about the flight and safety instructions will be given before takeoff.
We lift off from Reykjavik and head towards Iceland’s famous Golden Circle. From above, you’ll see the incredible Þingvellir National Park, where the earth’s tectonic plates meet, and the steaming Geysir geothermal area.
The helicopter will glide over the colorful rhyolite mountains of Landmannalaugar and the vast, untouched landscapes of Iceland’s highlands. Expect vibrant colors, lava fields, and winding rivers from a breathtaking aerial view.
We make our first landing at a handpicked scenic spot. Stretch your legs, breathe in the fresh air, and take some unforgettable photos surrounded by Iceland's raw beauty.
The journey continues toward the stunning Þórsmörk valley, tucked between glaciers and mountains. You’ll also fly over the famous Eyjafjallajökull volcano, which last erupted in 2010.
Our second landing spot offers another chance to step out and experience the dramatic Icelandic landscape up close. Your pilot will select the location based on the day's best weather and views.
As we head back, you’ll follow a trail of majestic waterfalls like Gullfoss and Háifoss, and catch sight of the black sand beaches and newborn volcanic islands along Iceland’s south coast.
The tour ends as we circle back towards Reykjavik, offering one last chance to take in the spectacular views before landing.
