    Meet the guide in Vík at the stated time and check in for the Super Jeep departure.

  2. Super Jeep journey

    Ride off road into the Katla glacier landscape while the guide introduces the area’s volcanic history.

  3. Extended Katla glacier hike

    Walk farther through the black volcanic terrain, canyons and glacier features than on the standard Katla route.

  4. Natural ice cave

    Enter a natural ice cave only after the guide has assessed its current stability and access.

  5. End

    Return to Vík

    Travel back by Super Jeep to the original Vík meeting point.
