Cross the Icelandic Highlands for Hjálparfoss, Háifoss, Hnausapollur and a guided Landmannalaugar hike with a geothermal bathing opportunity.

Itinerary

  1. Reykjavík pickup

    Meet the guide at the selected Reykjavík pickup point and begin the day’s route.

  2. Hjálparfoss

    See the twin cascades of Hjálparfoss where the rivers meet among basalt formations.

  3. Háifoss

    View one of Iceland’s tallest waterfalls as it drops into a deep highland gorge.

  4. Hnausapollur

    Stop above the blue lake filling this highland volcanic crater.

  5. Landmannalaugar hike and geothermal pool

    Hike through colourful rhyolite mountains and lava fields, then bathe in the natural geothermal pool if conditions and time allow.

  6. Return to Reykjavík

    Return to Reykjavík after the final stop; the arrival time can change with road and weather conditions.
