Overview
A private visit to the Caves of Laugarvatn, about 25–30 minutes with a guide, storytelling and a tasting of Icelandic food.
The cave is reserved for your group alone. A guide walks through it with old photographs and accounts of the families who lived here less than a century ago, working with what nature provided. The tasting covers flatbread with smoked lamb, dried fish with butter, fermented shark, coffee, milk and a shot of Brennivín. One booking covers up to 12 guests, with a per-person charge for each guest above that.
The visit lasts about 25–30 minutes and the cave is not fully wheelchair accessible. Guests meet the guide at the caves in Laugarvatn.
