Þingeyri
Þingeyri sits on Dýrafjörður, with fishing heritage, an old blacksmith’s workshop and nearby walking viewpoints.

Why stop in Þingeyri?
The old blacksmith’s workshop and village waterfront give Þingeyri a cultural focus. Sandafell is a separate viewpoint outing, while Dynjandi is an onward excursion rather than a town-centre attraction. Choose the scale of your stop before adding those places to the same day.
Planning your visit
Confirm workshop or café opening if either anchors your plan. For a walk or drive towards a viewpoint, check local access and visibility. An onward waterfall visit needs its own road and timing allowance; do not compress it into the time reserved for a village walk.
