Overview
A private ten-hour Diamond Circle tour from Akureyri with a chauffeur-guide, booked by vehicle: a sedan for one or two guests, or an SUV for up to five.
The chauffeur-guide collects guests from their Akureyri hotel and drives the northern loop: Goðafoss, the Lake Mývatn geothermal area with its mud pools, fumaroles, lava formations and pseudo-craters, Dettifoss, the Ásbyrgi canyon and the harbour town of Húsavík. Stops and timings are set by the group. Bottled water and onboard WiFi are included.
The listed inclusions are hotel pick-up, the private guide, bottled water and WiFi. The optional stop at the Mývatn Nature Baths and any food in Húsavík are not among them, and the price covers the vehicle rather than each passenger.
